The Datagauss LG Max is the most powerful, compact, continuous degausser for hard drives and backup tapes in the VS Security Products range. Media that can be securely erased includes both hard drives that use perpendicular and longitudinal recording techniques, including 5000 Oersted’s and all common backup tapes.

Fast destruction

Destroy hard drives in just 15 seconds. 240 3.5″ hard drives per hour typical. 480 2.5″ hard drives per hour typical or 240 back-up tapes per hour.
 

Multiple formats

Standard PC, Laptop and Server 3.5”, 2.5” & 1.8” Hard Drives. Longitudinal & perpendicular recording. All drive interfaces; IDE, SATA, SAS and Fibre Channel. All backup tapes including; DLT,2,3,4,5,6 & SDLT, LTO1,2,3,4,5,6,7 & 8 3480/3490/3490e,3590,9840,T9940 & T10000 tape. Ultrium & Redwood SD-3 tape and cartridges. Data auditing

Verify data erasure is completed with auditing software that connects to a PC or laptop (Win 10, 8, 7 and Vista 32-bit & 64-bit), Win XP (SP3 or higher), 32-bit only.
 

Powerful gauss force

10,000 Gauss force (1 Tesla).

The DataGauss LG Max comes with a 24 month back to base, all parts and labor included warranty. Whether you opt for an extended warranty or not, our factory-based technical support team are available for free phone and email support.

A release catch to open the lid, and a chamber to insert the media along with an LCD display built-in that monitors erasure cycles.
